Wastewater Treatment

The Medford Regional Water Reclamation Facility provides wastewater treatment to all cities in the Bear Creek Valley, except for Ashland. The facility processes about 17 million gallons of wastewater per day in dry weather and 80 million gallons per day in wet weather. Population growth in the Rogue Valley requires the facility to perform regular upgrades. PEC’s work on recent upgrades has included installation of new 15kv class primary metering and utility feeds, two 2500kva 12.47kv to 480v step down service transformers, installation of new main distribution switchgear, fabrication of electrical services building and foundation, the installation of new utility trenches interconnecting with existing trenches, and the relocation of standby generators.
