Southern Oregon University's Center for Visual Arts comprises two modern glass and metal
buildings totaling 66,000 square feet. They flank the existing Schneider Museum of Art and
wrap around a central plaza. The facility includes two seminar rooms; two digital media labs;
a 160-seat auditorium; a 50-seat classroom for art history; a ceramic studio; a photography
studio; a paintmaking studio; slide library; and, a learning center. Our work included all electrical
power, stand-by generators, distribution, architectural lighting systems, and fire alarm life safety
systems.
